I don’t run sales. I never have, and I don’t plan to start.

But I do believe the first piece someone brings home should feel like an invitation, not a transaction. These are small works from my private studio archive, pieces I’ve chosen to phase out of gallery representation, offered at this price exclusively to first-time collectors.

Once you’ve collected one of my paintings, this particular door closes. It won’t reopen for you, and these specific pieces won’t be offered like this again.

The are not prints. Not editions. Each painting is a single, unrepeatable original — made with porous ink, paint, and 24-karat gold leaf by hand. Once it’s claimed, it belongs to one person, in one home, forever. No gallery markup. No waitlist. No showing up to a show.

“The best pieces were always in the corner of the gallery.”

Every serious collector knows this. The paintings that stop you cold — that you think about for weeks — aren’t the ones on the main wall. They’re the ones you almost missed. I’m bringing those works directly to you, at a price that only exists here, only now.

HER STORY

“An open flower, beautiful and radiant in the sun, reminds us that we too can allow ourselves to blossom and shine.”

I grew up in the countryside of Sonoma County, lying among the nasturtiums, sweet peas and forget-me-nots in my family’s garden, staring up at the vast blue sky. The flowers took me over, unraveling their beautiful all around me. I’ve spent my life since trying to capture that overwhelming magic.

Strength in softness is the theme I keep returning to. I’ve learned that staying open, staying soft, in a world that often asks us to harden, takes its own kind of courage. Every piece I paint is an invitation back to that feeling, a reminder that it is the most natural thing in the world to be fully expressed.

The Process

What makes these worth living with.

Porous ink that bleeds into the canvas or paper. Paint arched in long gestures that follow the stem of a flower. And 24-karat gold leaf, laid by hand, where I want a bloom to hold its own light. Photography cannot capture what the gold does across a day. That’s what you’re actually collecting — something that changes with your room as the seasons change.
