Her Story

I grew up in the countryside of Sonoma County, lying among the nasturtiums, sweet peas and forget-me-nots in my family’s garden, staring up at the vast blue sky. The flowers took me over, unraveling their beauty all around me. I’ve spent my life since trying to capture that overwhelming magic.

Strength in softness is the theme I keep returning to. I’ve learned that staying open, staying soft, in a world that often asks us to harden, takes its own kind of courage. Every piece I paint is an invitation back to that feeling, a reminder that it is the most natural thing in the world to be fully expressed.
